First I’ll try to describe few facts that will outline clearly how we perceive the world we are living in.
With the years so many researches are been conducted in the name of finding out how we read and assimilate information better. And there are quite few proven facts we need to consider when trying to find out how effective the visual impact of Photography for commercial and corporate businesses is.
It is good to know that what we see has profound effect on what we do, how we feel and who we are. Also through experience and trial and error we continually increase our understanding of the visual world and how we are influenced by it. Some Psychologist demonstrates that 93% of communication is nonverbal, also some researches are showing that we are able to process visuals 60,000 time faster than text. Other studies are showing that our brains decipher image elements simultaneously, while language is decoded in a liner, sequential manner that makes it longer to be process.
The announcement of the new PocketWizard Plus X transceiver should be considered great news from many photographers who are into off camera flash/strobes photography as it is the most affordable, up to date, PocketWizard product that comes, currently, for around $100 for unit.
The new PocketWizard Plus X comes with completely new and simplistic design. The new case design is very tough and robust, also the antenna is not exposed as in previous models but is built within the body of the unit.

Hi guys in this blog post I will share few tips on how to play around with your speedlights, in your spare time ;)
After I woke up in the morning I decided to go and visit Calumet, near Euston station in central London, I love this store, as I needed a new boom arm, I had one from previews purchase I did through eBay but it wasn’t very strong and reliable to hold one speedlight and the beauty dish. I won’t be going into any details of my experience in the shop for well-known reasons ;) By the way I also picked up few clip clamps and a roll of the so necessary, for every living creature, Gaffer Tape!Read More »
Work still in progress. So far I finished the modelling, shading and texturing. I did everything form scratch for this project. My system is taking long to render the 274 frames of the animated/tracked camera. And as soon as the rendering process finish I need to take all the render layers in Nuke, and Nuke is something new for my as I never use it before. But I have no doubt that I’ll make my way around this software ;)
Here you can see some quick renders from the progress of the project before the video is ready.
Here is my very first 3d model I did. I completed the project as part of my course work while I was doing my study at Escape Studios. This is a high polygonal model of the famous Soviet tank T-34. I also used mental ray network of materials to shade it and create the textures, for the light I used IBL node and FG. Also I deployed the mental ray production shaders for the compositing/shadow part. Software’s used in this project: Maya 2012, Mental Ray, Adobe Photoshop.Read More »
