Few weeks ago I had the opportunity to set foot on a very famous photographic location in London, the Altostratus Penthouse. I was working on a project for a London based young entrepreneur, who was in the process of building interactive blog designed to show his public profile. So for the purpose he needed some mixture between commercial and corporate photography.
At first he was planning to use luxury apartment of a friend he knew, but the apartment wasn’t available for the dates arranged for the photoshoot sessions. Then I recommended hiring the Altostratus Penthouse, as their prices were competitive compared with other agencies operating across London area. I was very pleased to know that my professional recommendations were considered as he was very pleased with hiring that particular venue.
The Altostratus Penthouse is located on the 29th floor and the view from there over London is amazing, and for the record this is the tallest building I have been in London so far. The photoshoot was very busy as we changed something like 8 or 9 different setup and looks. One of the good thing of using speedlights rather than professional studio lighting is that in such situations they are much easier to move and set up around. The other interesting thing about this photo session was the look required for the final product. It is quite obvious that this is a photography but for the purposes of the brief I needed to add some corporate feel to it.
It was a unique experience visiting the Altostratus Penthouse and doing what I love best, capturing meaning photography.
Also, it was a real pleasure working with a respectful client who appreciated the value of highest quality photos could bring to his business (you can also find out the importance of quality corporate photography for businesses )
Below are some of the images that was taken on that day on the 29th floor above London.
Really, the photos looks precious!
