You maybe asking “what system? That’s just another point and shoot camera” well I would say that there were quite a few extra bits available for this camera, which by the way were next on my shopping list. Basically, regardless of the camera you choose, have fun with your camera, and have lots of practice.
That particular camera I bought has helped me a learn a great deal before I began my career as professional photographer. It had features like Preview Mode and tilt top LCD panel swiveling to almost any angle gave me the opportunity to understand more about camera settings, and composition through practice rather than sitting in the chair and reading manuals, which by the way I think makes a big difference and also is much more fun.
Exploring the possibilities of different cameras and settings they were offering, good friend of mine Vladimir Donkov suggested that I should try my hands on a Canon System. But even now after more than 6 years using only Canon I wouldn’t call myself a Canon user only because for me it doesn’t really matter what camera and lenses is used because the most important thing is to have one in your hands when you want to capture greatest photos.
Nowadays, most major brands more or less share similar qualities and options, at the end of the day, enjoy the camera that you currently possess and have fun with it, and make sure you continue to capture those magical moments.
