With this blog post I will be covering my experience with something relatively new for me – Vacation Photography in London.
There is a time in our lives when something special happens, and we decide to commemorate this moment or, perhaps, just enjoy it with the people we love by visiting a special place – our dream vacation.
This was the case of a very happy couple from Texas, USA – who were on a tour, across Europe’s capitals and famous spots, sharing some great moments together. When London was the next stop – they decided to hire a professional photographer to capture their visit to one of the most beautiful cities in the world – the city of London.
This is how I met Chantel and her husband. I received an email with a request for a quote and availability but because of the short nature of their visit, only for a day in London, the maximum time they were able to spare, for photography, was just one hour. The landmarks of choice were Big Ben and London Eye – yes I know, very predictable, but then again who will visit London and not taking pictures in front of Big Ben?
It is quite remarkable how, lately, I’m getting more frequent requests to be “Personal Photographer” or “Vacation Photographer” (I’m not even sure how to define it) from people who are visiting London.
Anyway, despite having just an hour to cover two of the London’s greatest landmarks, we ended up capturing some really cool photographs. As I said to them, it is so easy when photographing happy people – every frame I captured that day, was charged with so much positive energy and genuine enjoyment of the overall experience with my photography approach.

And bellow can be seeing a small selection of the images I captured during the hour I spend with the lovely people who I may never see again – but surely I left timeless peace of happiness that will be part of their life.
