As a London based professional photographer, one of my first job this year was to provide my event photography services, and cover an event at the London Excel exhibition center. I was contacted and hired by the team of a Malta based digital company NetRefer, to capture their exhibition stand and presence at ICE Totally gaming annual exhibition.
This wasn’t the usual event photography experience I had with other events, this time my little challenge was the limitation of space – which, on the other hand was compensated by the lovely team of people, in the face of NetRefer team, I was working with. I was limited to photographing only their, relatively medium size, exhibition stand. Most of my previous events were way more speciously organized including stage, venues, conference rooms etc.
This time I needed to keep close eye to everything that was taking place at and around the NetRefer stand – interaction with visitors interested in their product, taking (on a very fast phase) portraits of the staff and basically everything that revolved around the exhibition stand and their staff. As usual I captured huge volume of images, as I was hired to provide my event photography over two days. The situation required me to work on a very fast phase as, as I mentioned, I needed to cover very small area where lots of things were happening at the same time in every corner of the exhibit.
After all, as usual, the whole experience was so enjoyable – as again I had the chance to meet new and wonderful people who I made happy by capturing their special moment.
